Well, I had a very good phone interview with the hiring manager at TiVo. Apparently so did the other consultant that M² was presenting. The word I got was that the hiring manager really liked us both and that it was difficult to choose. She foolishly chose the other consultant who, in all fairness, had a better set of technical qualifications for the work.So I get to work on my other prospects, even more, which is an enriching and satisfying experience. Really. It's better than finding $20 in your coat pocket.
The silver lining is that I won't have to drive to Alviso to go to work. Maybe I can get a gig in Redwood City...
